Researching up the meaning and the understand what motion graphics mean.
Motion graphics are graphics that use video footage and/or animation technology to create the illusion of motion or rotation, and are usually combined with audio for use in multimedia projects. Motion graphics are usually displayed via electronic media technology, but may be displayed via manual powered technology (e.g. thaumatrope, phenakistoscope, stroboscope, zoetrope, praxinoscope, flip book)
as well. The term is useful for distinguishing still graphics from
graphics with a transforming appearance over time without
over-specifying the form
Now my understanding of motion graphics are to look out for is make things into parts so it will be easier to get the work done and in pace. eg :
- I will need to find the information about the topic I want to infographic about.
- Look at the information what is needed and not needed.
- find the style that goes with it and the style that i can work comfortably with.
- gather the information into section that links to each other and will follow together when its working into each other.
- the colour scheme that will go with it.
- images/illustration/model ect that is right for it.
- the music and or voice over with narrative.
- than slowly putting it together. (links with the process with the above)
